Tabberdasher 😸 the beginning...... During the pandemic several stray, throwaway or basically homeless cats ended up on our doorstep. They each have a unique story. First came Ash and her son, Gilbert, who were rescued from a drug house which eventually burned down. Ash was pregnant and we were able to find homes for two of her kittens. Next came Snuggles who came from a condemned home. The owner had been taken to the hospital and is now in a nursing home, unable to take his cat. In the middle of extreme cold, Bill (female) was rescued from underneath a home. We have no idea how long she was trapped down there, but she was hungry and pregnant. We call her Bill because another neighbor who was feeding her, before she got trapped in the basement, thought she was a male and called her Bill - so it stuck.
